show Abstracthide AbstractCupriavidus metallidurans displays a decreased survivability, with typical survival frequencies ranging between 10-3 to 10-5, when sustained on rich medium (i.e. Lysogeny Broth) at an increased temperature of 37C compared to the normal growth temperature of 30C. They coined this phenomenon as temperature-induced mortality and mutagenesis (TIMM). Here we describe two mutants of CH34 resistant to TIMM.
